To all of our Siide users:
It is a bitter sweet day today. I wanted to let all of you know we’ll be shutting down Siide.com around July 15th, about one month from today. It was a long and enjoyable road, but in the end we just didn’t get the traction we needed to continue.
Many of you can recall the early versions of Siide.com, from the daily jobs back in October, to the time when we first launched Skills. Many of you invested your personal time building profiles, listing jobs, and using the system. For that, I want to personally thank you.
The life of a startup is never easy, and a special thanks goes to the team who put it all together: Casey, Jason, Rich, Brendan, and Stu. There were some early advisors who I want to thank as well. You all did fantastic.
The sweet part of this email is most of the team is staying together, and we’re busy working on our next venture: wantable.co. Wantable is a project I’m very excited about and takes me back to my roots, ecommerce.
